A recent teaser saw Millie’s hero Eleven back in the facility from when she was younger, with her backstory finally being explored in much more detail.
After huge growth and evolution in Eleven, the move was a shock for fans, but Millie has promised there will be huge questions surrounding the teen warrior which will be cleared up.
However, the 18-year-old also explained why she found the upcoming series so difficult when Eleven is in the ‘darkest state she’s ever been’ and her pals are having so much fun.
‘This has definitely been the hardest season I’ve ever filmed,’ she told Collider.
‘And there have been some of the scariest things that I’ve ever seen as a human, which you guys will get to see for sure.
‘I’ll get to tell more stories and touch on my experiences as a person filming on the set with these legitimate scary things.’
Fans recently that could indicate their favourite characters will die in season four, which is a lot to take with another month to go.
