, known to her followers as , has opened up about her immense heartbreak following the earlier this year.
The , 34, devastatingly lost her father, Alan, on April 25 of this year after he died ‘peacefully’ in his sleep, prompting Sophie to take an extended break.
Now, the has returned to with an emotional, grief-filled message for her followers.
Sharing a picture of herself and her two sons at the beach, the influencer, whose books have been featured on the Sunday Times Bestseller list, admitted, ‘I’d be lying if I said I was okay… in fact, I feel broken.’
She continued to say she is navigating an ‘extreme mix of emotions’ that she is struggling to make sense of and feels as though she has entered a ‘new part of my world’ where her grief sits heavy.
Sophie told her 4.8 million followers, ‘I feel like my Dad taught me everything I needed to know, except how to live without him’.
She then thanked those who had reached out for their ‘overwhelming amount of love and support’.
‘I see you and I’m so so grateful’, she said. ‘Thank you for being patient with me while I try to find my feet again alongside my family, who I am SO incredibly proud of and who I love with my whole heart.’
In the caption of the post, she added, ‘I wanted to come on here and say thank you so much for all the overwhelming love and support.
‘I may not be able to get back to you all right now, but I see you and I am so grateful.’

When did Sophie Hinchliffe’s dad die?
Sophie made the announcement on May 8 that her father died in April after a life-long battle with ‘chest, lung and heart’ problems.
She said at the time that his passing was ‘sudden’ but peaceful and came just weeks after she revealed to her followers that he had been admitted to hospital.
‘My dad is in hospital at the moment guys. My dad has never been blessed shall we say with fantastic health – from his chest, his lungs, his heart’, she said.
‘He’s always struggled you know.’ Adding, ‘I just want him to be happy.’
