Mrs Hinch has revealed her son Ronnie has been rushed to hospital in an ambulance as she updates her Instagram followers on his condition.

The influencer, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, said the three-year-old was taken to hospital with a mystery illness as his neck began to swell.

Hinch, 33, confirmed that the eldest of her two children and brother to Lennie, two, was taken to A&E as a precautionary measure following the incident.

She wrote on Instagram to update her 4.7million followers, apologising for her ‘radio silence’ over the weekend.

‘Everything just seems like a fog right now. Ron’s temp spiked to over 40 and his neck was swelling, limited head movements. I couldn’t keep meds or fluids in him (sic),’ she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

‘We were taken to A&E and sent home with antibiotics and it just didn’t feel right. My gut told me no.’

She then said that she decided to ring 111 and that following the call she returned to the hospital, with her son later being admitted.

‘Since having IV antibiotics we are seeing a really really slow improvement but we will be in here for a little longer yet, as we need to get his temperature satisfactory and need the antibiotics to kick in,’ she continued.

‘Nothing prepares you for something like this does it. Just being on a children’s’ ward, seeing so many innocent little arms bandaged with cannulas. I just can’t comprehend this whole thing (sic).’

She went on to thank her followers for messaging her, adding: ‘What I wouldn’t give to be back home with all my boys.’

It comes after the mother-of-two saw posts on after she failed to make clear to her followers that she was advertising her own products.

She posted a story on January 7 last year featuring a notebook filled with writing and the text: ‘If you’re a little mad like me tap here for yours.’

Clicking the link on the story took users to the relevant product page on the Amazon website and the video ended with the front cover of the notebook which stated ‘Mrs Hinch Life in Lists’ while Sophie declared: ‘In my own notebook of course’.

The post attracted 34 complaints that it was not obviously identifiable as an ad for her own notebook.
