Naomi Osaka ‘gives birth to first baby with boyfriend Cordae’ and is ‘doing great’

star has given birth to her first child, it’s been reported.

The Grand Slam winner is said to have welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, rapper Cordae, and is said to be doing well.

The 25-year-old announced her in January this year, revealing that she would not be returning to the until 2024.

On January 11, Naomi shared a post on social media that read: ‘Can’t wait to get back on the court but here’s a little life update for 2023,’ before revealing the news that she was pregnant.

In the new report regarding the supposed birth, a source said to be close to Naomi told : ‘They are doing great.’

In her pregnancy announcement, which was shared six months ago, the athlete admitted that the past few years had been ‘interesting’ and ‘challenging’ for her.

‘These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to,’ she wrote at the time.

‘I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, everyday is a new blessing and adventure.’

She continued: ‘I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future. One thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, “that’s my mom,” haha.’

Last month, Naomi confirmed that she was expecting a baby girl with Cordae – who she’s been with since 2019 – sharing a series of pictures of herself in front of a sign that read: ‘A little princess is on the way.’

The tennis phenomenon has won four Grand Slams in her career – the US Open twice in 2018 and 2020, and the Australian Open twice in 2019 and 2021.

Her best performance at both the French Open and Wimbledon has been to reach the third round.
