fans have been tuning into Witness Number 3 but they have urged viewers to follow one rule.
The crime drama originally ran on last year before recently being acquired by the global streaming platform.
The chilling series follows young mum and hairdresser Jodie (Nina Toussaint-White) who witnesses a man seconds before his murder and comes forward to give evidence to police.
But when detectives decide to keep her identity a secret, referring to her only as Witness Number 3, it dawns on her the case is more dangerous than she had ever imagined.
Viewers, who have described the drama as ‘wild’, are all issuing the same warning on X, formerly known as Twitter, and it’s this: ‘If you’re watching Witness Number 3 on Netflix do NOT watch it alone like I have.’
Another fan confessed: ‘Wide awake at this time … watching witness number 3 on Netflix wasn’t the best idea.’
Chilled to the bone, a third admitted: ‘Need to do a mindfulness meditation or something to calm myself down after watching 2 episodes of #WitnessNumber3
Of course, Witness Number 3 is far from that has been the subject of warnings.
The global streamer itself even got into the action and comically issued one on Twitter over Richard Armitage’s horny character in BDSM drama Obsession.
Warning fans who have made the ‘questionable’ decision to watch Obsession with their parents, Netflix released the exact timings which would be a good moment to leave the room and pop the kettle on.
Obviously, the pillow moment was there as well as a handful of other eye-opening moments you don’t want to chat to your mum about.
‘This is very useful, can all programmes come with this please?’ responded one fan while another said it was too much just watching with his wife.
Witness Number 3 is available to stream on Netflix.
