A : The Challenge star has revealed that some players were kicked off the show after being caught ‘hooking up’.
Based on the hit South Korean dystopian drama, the recently releasedreality series who enter the competition series in pursuit of a record-setting cash prize of $4.56 million (£3.725 million).
The finale episode will be released this week, with three players left in the running to take home the money.
However, since their eliminations from the show has been revealed, many other players have been , as well as many .
Some have come from player 243, Stephen, who has shared that some contestants were sent home early after they broke the rules by getting hot and heavy with each other.
Before the 16-day filming period at Warf Studios in London was underway, the players were ‘individually quarantined’ in a hotel.
‘[We were] not allowed to interact or talk to each other,’ he explained in a recent .
‘Some people got caught sneaking into each other’s rooms and hooking up, so they got booted from the show.’
He also revealed that he was nearly one of the casualties after he was caught sneaking into the room of his friend, player 456, Chase.
‘But they were like, “Oh, they came here together anyway so they’re fine”,’ he said.
One of the fan-favourites, Stephen had a notable bond with contestant Rick, player 232, however both men were sent packing in episode five after being eliminated by player 229, Phalisia.
When asked if he still kept in touch with Rick, Stephen shared that they ‘text almost every single day’.
Last week another favourite, player 301 Trey, explained how some of the group to try and soothe their chapped lips while on set.
According to Entertainment Weekly, at the beginning of filming, everyone was supplied with toiletries – including a small bag containing hand sanitizer, toothpaste and a toothbrush.
After a few days, many lamented the lack of lip balm and resorted to other measures to sooth their chapped lips.
‘There was lotion, there was conditioner, and those were the first two tries,’ he told the outlet, insisting that he steered clear of the condoms.
‘After I tried those and they weren’t working, I was like, “Well, that’s all of our options, because obviously we’re not going to use the condoms.” And within a day, maybe a day and a half, all the condoms were gone. It was absurd. And it still didn’t work!’
The remaining players in the competition are Sam (player 016), Mai (player 287) and Phill (player 451).
