‘You know you just sound like Adele?’ James quipped, before asking her to give him her ‘best Adele impression.’

The host asked his passenger whether she’d seen Adele’s version of her Monster rap verse , to which she said: ’I just loved it, she made me so, so happy. She embodied Nicki Minaj!’
Fans then got to see the two side by side taking on the iconic rap in their respective Carpool stints, after suspecting there could be an Adele inclusion in the skit.

Turning back to the British accent, Nicki explained: ‘[Adele] just naturally has that thing, do you know what I mean??
‘What’s different, is she’s singing these sad songs and so you don’t expect it from her.’
After being asked whether she ever belted out any of Adele’s signature emotional tracks, James and Nicki joined together for a rendition of Someone Like You.
Could this be the sign of a collaboration on the cards? We’d love to see it.
