It’s been which continues as she’s now cancelled her second Amsterdam concert following her arrest.
The 41-year-old Starships hitmaker was detained in the Netherlands last week after kicking off the European leg of at the Ziggo Dome in Holland on May 23.
She was due to for a second show on Sunday, June 2.
However, Dutch promoter Mojo announced on its website that the concert would no longer take place ‘due to the events of last week’, when she was arrested at the airport on May 25 on suspicion of trying to export marijuana.
The night of the incident, a statement was shared with the PA news agency from the National Police Corps, who confirmed that a woman was arrested after allegedly trying to take soft drugs from Schiphol Airport to another country.
They confirmed at around 7.30pm that she remained under arrest and the force was still investigating.
Nicki’s show at Co-op Live was originally set to have doors open at 6.30pm but this time kept getting pushed back.
The Dutch force released another statement around 9pm saying it had released their ‘suspect and she can now move on’.
Previously, Nicki shared a video of a conversation between herself and an airport staff member at Amsterdam’s airport, who told her they needed to search her luggage because of police orders.Â
She then revealed in a tweet that police were questioning her: ‘Now they said I have to go 5 mins away to make a statement about my security to the police precinct.’
Nicki claimed in a social media post that the airport delays were deliberate and caused by saboteurs who wanted to damage her tour.
A spokesperson for the Dutch military police later told News that the case against Nicki was closed and they would take no action against her if she returned to the Netherlands.
She was ultimately fined 350 euros (£298.25) but did not have enough time to make her show in Manchester, .
Announcing the concert’s cancellation, a statement from Live Nation said: ‘Despite Nicki’s best efforts to explore every possible avenue to make tonight’s show happen, the events of today have made it impossible.
‘We are deeply disappointed by the inconvenience this has caused.’
Fans were devastated, with Nicki also taking to X to express her upset before inviting fans out to the streets so she could meet them from her Manchester hotel.
Nicki has since spoken out about her ‘disgusting’ treatment in the Netherlands.
‘Not being able to get to Manchester, I don’t know when was the last time I felt that low, you know?’, she told fans on the live-streaming platform Stationhead.
‘And not only that but just knowing that something is being done to you on purpose… But the treatment was just disgusting. And I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.’
The rapper’s scrapped concert in Manchester on Saturday has since been rescheduled to Monday, June 3.
She played another show at the same venue on Thursday night.
Nicki has yet to comment on the Amsterdam show cancellation.
