Nicolas Cage unrecognisable with bald head on set of A24’s Dream Scenario

looked miles away from his usual self as he donned a bald cap and bushy beard for his latest role.

The star, 59, was pictured on the set of A24’s Dream Scenario looking lowkey while in character wearing beige trousers, a khaki fleece, and a matching khaki coat while standing with his hands in his pocket.

The Hollywood icon was previously seen filming at the entrance of a movie theatre in Toronto with his co-star for the film.

Details of the production are being kept tightly under wraps, with reporting that the film is a comedy and will premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival which runs from September 7 to 17.

Directed by Sick Of Myself’s Kristoffer Borgli, the film will also star , Dylan Baker, Tim Meadows, Dylan Gelula, and Lily Gao.

Among the producers of the film is Ari Aster, best known as the mind behind acclaimed horror films and .

It’s not the last we will see of Cage this year, with the actor set to appear in Sympathy For The Devil alongside Joel Kinnaman and Alexis Zollicoffer.

The film, which is set to have its European premiere at FrightFest in London later this month, sees a mysterious passenger force a man to drive him at gunpoint.

The driver, played by Cage, ‘finds himself in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse where nothing is as it seems,’ the synopsis reads.

The film sees a fictionalised version of the actor agree to go to a Mexican billionaire’s birthday party after the promise of being paid $1million to do so.

His character was added to the game on July 25, allowing players to evade the killer alongside other survivors in the multiplayer horror game.
