Former UKIP leader was impressed by star Sharon Gaffka after she highlighted the dangers of drink spiking across the country.
The TV star, 26, who appeared on the most recent series of the ITV2 dating programme, urged the government to improve education around drugs and sexual consent.
Gaffka recently opened up about her in 2020 after her friends found her unconscious, before being rushed to the hospital.
During her sit down with the politician on Tuesday’s GB News, she said: ‘I talk very passionately about spiking and police prevent of spiking on social media and I get a lot of young men telling me “I ‘don’t know how to take a joke” and “I don’t have a sense of humour.”‘
The broadcaster, 58, who was blown away by her enthusiasm, asked the former civil servant what her career ambitions were before saying: ‘You’ve clearly got the campaigning bit very firmly between your teeth. You’re very passionate about it.’
‘I would really love to see myself as a member of Parliament one day,’ Gaffka replied.
‘I definitely see that as where my career’s going, or some kind of investigative journalism.’
‘I think you have every chance of becoming an MP, I can spot them a mile off,’ Mr Farage replied.
Following her stint on Love Island, the reality star worked with the Young Women’s Trust since sharing her story, with hopes of raising awareness about drink spiking, which was said to have reached epidemic levels earlier this year.

Amy Hart – who made an appearance in season five – featured on BBC’s in October last year.
