Nintendo Switch Sports scores third week at number one – Games charts 14 May

One of the slowest weeks of the year has given Evil Dead: The Game a chance to get surprisingly high in the UK sales charts.

With no major new releases last week, and none on the immediate horizon, could be settling in for a very long stay at the top of the UK boxed sales charts.

With a mere 100,000 games sold overall in the top 40, most of the existing titles have barely seen any change in chart position. However, there was one new entry, with Evil Dead: The Game debuting at number five.

It likely would’ve been ignored at retail during any other time of the year, especially as it’s primarily an online title, but a sensible release date has given it a higher profile than it would otherwise have enjoyed.
