has angered fans by revealing the support act for his tour, announcing former singer who physically assaulted his wife.
The ex-Oasis legend is about to embark on a series of with his group Noel Gallagher’s The Flying Birds to promote new album Council Skies.
While Gallagher, 56, will be his latest announcement has really upset fans as Meighan will be his warm-up act on the UK arena tour.
Fans who were initially excited to attend are now threatening to boycott or sell on unless the disgraced is replaced.
Meighan, 42, was convicted in 2020 of and exited chart-topping band Kasabian at the same time.

Meighan posted the announcement on his Instagram and wrote: ‘Big news…! Incredible to share a stage with the great man at Audley on Saturday. And we’re doing it all again in December. Can’t wait.’
While the former Kasabian frontman might be excited, fans are less impressed.
‘Put my ticket up for sale! Tom Meighan is absolutely despicable & disappointed Noel would have someone like him as his support,’ tweeted one.
Another questioned: ‘What on earth is he doing having Tom Meighan as his support?’
‘That scumbag Tom Meighan being able to just walk straight back into being a pretty successful musician after what he did is sick,’ added a third disgruntled fan.
One fan critiqued Gallagher’s pattern of picking ‘picking problematic supports’ referencing his previous choice of Primal Scream.
‘Noel taking on Tom is a big deal and it has got a lot of people talking,’ a source told .
Fans had spotted that Kasabian have opened for Oasis’ other half Liam Gallagher and current frontman Serge Pizzorno is good friends with the 50-year-old.
Pizzorno criticised and dismissed his friendship with Meighan when the assault happened.
The source continued: ‘Some have said it feels like Noel’s decision to get Tom on board could be taken as a slight towards Liam.
‘It’s not gone down well with a lot of fans but there are people out there who have forgiven Tom and want to move on.
‘Noel would have known there would be a backlash but he’s clearly standing his ground.’
