90s Britpop icons have announced a series of new dates for their eagerly-awaited 2025 tour.
The rock band, fronted by warring brothers Liam and sent the music world into uproar earlier this year when they announced that they would be getting the gang back together for a reunion tour.
Tickets originally went on sale from August 31 – and quickly sold out in the UK. Extra dates were added, but those soon sold out too.
And, as the band teased that Oasis Live ’25 was heading around the world, it was .
Canada, US, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Chile and Argentina are among the countries around the world which will host the band’s reunion… and more dates have suddenly been announced.
The band have now added Australia to the list of dates – meaning that those who missed out the first time are still in with a chance to see Oasis make music history… again.
The Australian leg of the Oasis 2025 world tour, produced by Live Nation, will see the band perform in stadiums in Sydney and Melbourne in October and November 2025.
Announcing the latest additions, the Don’t Look Back in Anger singers said: ‘People of the land down under. You better run – you better take cover… We are coming. You are most welcome.’
The band will play on Fri 31 Oct in Marvel Stadium, Melbourne, and on Fri 7 November in Accor Stadium, Sydney.
This comes 19 years since their last performance in Australia, and in the wake of the biggest concert launch ever seen in the UK and Ireland – with over 10 million fans from 158 countries queuing to buy tickets.
However, fans will be hoping that the release of the next batch of tickets goes smoother than the first time around – which caused outrage .
This saw some fans paying as much as £355 per ticket – up from an already expensive £135.
The band revealed that they would be scrapping the controversial – and deeply flawed – payment system by the time the next batch of tickets were released, leaving some fans wondering whether they would be reimbursed for the more expensive tickets.
An announcement from the band at the time read: ‘Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model will not be applied to the forthcoming sale of tickets to Oasis concerts in North America.’
Good luck, Australia.
