is set to take to the stage at this year’s for Change fundraising gala.
The Troublemaker hitmaker, 39, will be joined by presenter and several A-listers scheduled to make an appearance on Saturday November 18.
The annual event was launched by a string of superstars in 2021. The initiative, which has already raised nearly £1 million, aims to lift young people from disadvantaged backgrounds out of poverty by providing grants for life-changing opportunities in education and employment
Speaking about the upcoming gig, the former X Factor star said: ‘I’m buzzing to perform at this year’s gala, a brilliant cause that I was pleased to get involved with last year too.Â
‘The football players and businesses involved are doing an incredible job to help change the lives of disadvantaged young people for the better.Â
‘I’m sure it will be a fantastic night and can’t wait to see everyone in Manchester in November.’
Sky Sports hosts Jamie added: ‘It is amazing to have Olly Murs supporting Football For Change by playing at our annual fundraising gala next month.
‘He is a music icon who puts on an amazing show and we’re all looking forward to it.’
The initial fundraising gala took place in Liverpool two years ago raising nearly £25,000 for charity.
Last year, the event moved to Manchester and saw show stopping performances from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Spice Girl Mel C.
Olly’s upcoming gig comes after he revealed he’shas been cancelled.
‘Presenting is something I have always loved doing. Starstruck was amazing but that isn’t coming back,’ he said.
‘I am gutted it is such a great show. In this game, things change so quickly.
‘The ratings did really well but in terms of money and stuff like that, it just didn’t work,’ he added when speaking to  at the National Television Awards last week.
