has shared a sweet video revealing both his and their loved ones’ reactions to being told his wife Amelia is pregnant.
Earlier this week , 39, with wife, fitness model Amelia, 30.
The couple, who were , announced the impending arrival of their baby with a sweet snap on .
In the photograph, she was standing against a wall smiling, with Olly standing next to her pointing at her growing bump whilst also holding an ultrasound.
He captioned the post: ‘Baby Murs due 2024.’
Now, a few days on, Olly has shared a video complication of the moment he found out he was going to be a dad, as well as sharing the news with family and friends.
In the first clip, the performer is being secretly filmed in his kitchen, having being told to close his eyes and put his hands out.
His wife can then be seen putting her positive pregnancy test in his hands, with Olly at first looking confused by what is happening and it taking a while for him to wrap his head around the news.
The video then cuts to their loved ones in a cinema.
As Olly films he yells out: ‘Amelia’s pregnant.’
Clearly taken aback, several of those being filmed exclaim ‘what’ before they then rush to hug the couple.
The pair then tell other loved ones over video calls, by handing over an ultrasound photo to several others, who are all duped into thinking they were posing for photos before being told the exciting news.
The video, which he captioned ‘It wasn’t just our hearts that skipped a beat…’, then ends with a clip of their baby’s ultrasound, with the heartbeat heard beating loudly.
When publicly announcing their pending arrival on Thursday night, the couple were flooded with messages of support from well-wishers.
Emma Willis wrote: ‘Oh Olly!!! I’m so so happy for you both. Sending you all lots of love.
Davina McCall wrote ‘yayyyyy’ with a series of love hearts, while Ronan Keating shared a clapping hands emoji.
The couple first met through social media back in 2019 and were married on Essex’s Osea Island this past summer.
