Ozzy Osbourne announces he’s moving back to UK with wife Sharon: ‘I don’t want to die in America’

Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon are set for a big life change after deciding to move back to the UK from Los Angeles. 

The famous couple have lived primarily in America over the past couple of decades with their children, Aimee, 38, Kelly, 37, and Jack, 36, also creating lives for themselves Stateside. 

However, the spate of mass shootings across the country have become a cause for concern for the Osbournes, who are now planning a move back to their homeland in England. 

Ozzy, 73, and Sharon, 69, – who married in 1982 – are proud owners of 120-year-old Grade II listed property, Welders House, in Buckinghamshire which is where they’ll be shipping their belongings back to. 

Sharing his despair at how his adopted country has changed, the Black Sabbath rocker said: ‘Everything’s f****** ridiculous there. I’m fed up with people getting Ki**ed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings.

‘And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert … It’s f****** crazy.’

He also that he doesn’t want to spend his last days in the US and be buried in Forest Lawn, the California cemetery favoured by many celebrities such as Paul Walker, Brittany Murphy and Bette Davis.  

Ozzy stated: ‘And I don’t want to die in America. I don’t want to be buried in f****** Forest Lawn.

‘I’m English. I want to be back. But, saying that, if my wife said we’ve got to go and live in Timbuktu, I’ll go. But, no, it’s just time for me to come home.’ 

Former X Factor judge Sharon stepped in to shut down speculation that their move back home might be spurred on by , which can cause involuntary shaking of particular parts of the body and inflexible muscles. 

‘I knew people would think that. It’s not. It’s just time. America has changed so drastically,’ Sharon said. 

‘It isn’t the United States of America at all. Nothing’s united about it. It’s a very weird place to live right now.’ 

next month with the release of his new solo album, Patient Number 9, while Sharon is busy with work commitments on this side of the pond, having launched her talk show on TalkTV earlier this year.
