Paris Fury seemingly passed the ‘leading lady’ baton to Molly-Mae Hague after Tyson and ’s respective boxing wins on Saturday night, amid talks the boxer is set to retire.
Paris was on hand to support husband Tyson as he went head to head – or boxing glove to boxing glove, rather – against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium,
She was alongside Pretty Little Thing creative director Molly-Mae, who was cheering on boyfriend Tommy, Tyson’s younger sibling, who was victorious in his undercard battle against Daniel Bocianski.
Paris, 32, – who shares six children with Tyson, 33, after the pair married in 2008 – continued to celebrate her husband’s win on Monday, revealing the Gypsy King promised when they started dating he would one day achieve greatness in the ring.
Alongside a photo of the pair kissing, Paris wrote: ‘Words can’t describe how proud I am of him, he told me when I was 16 he would do all this, it seemed crazy back then, but he followed his dreams and I supported him all the way.
‘I love you Tyson proudest wife on the planet.’
She also seemingly prepared the title of leading lady for Molly, amid Tyson’s claims the Wembley fight will be his last – despite Paris later conceding he
Paris wrote of the changing room snap alongside the influencer: ‘The next leading lady there @mollymae with her @tommyfury winning tonight a beauty inside and out.’
Molly-Mae replied: ‘My leading lady always.’
Speaking after the bout on Saturday, Tyson insisted he will now hang up his gloves for good in order to dedicate his life to his family having made a promise to his wife Paris.
‘You know I promised my lovely wife Paris of 14 years that after the Wilder three fight that would be it and I meant it. It was a great trilogy but I meant that,’ he said in the ring moments after knocking out his opponent.
‘I got offered to fight at Wembley at home and I believe I owed it to the fans and every person in the UK to fight at Wembley. I think this is it this might be the final curtain for The Gypsy King. What a way to go out.’
In his post-fight press conference, Tyson again insisted that he will now retire from professional boxing after ‘a lot of time on the road’ away from his family.
He said: ‘I’ve said what I’ve said and I’m happy with my decisions. I’m going to go home with my wife and kids. I’ve spent a lot of time on the road and I have been away a long time. I have fulfilled everything.
‘I am going to retire as only the second heavyweight after Rocky Marciano to retire undefeated. I was unbeatable at this game.’
Whether or not he retires remains to be seen, but there’s no disputing he i as he was spotted at Essex noshery Sheesh on Monday alongside Paris, Tommy and friends and family – and Mark Wright and James Argent, of course.
