On Monday May 15, he was photographed wearing a pair of blue jeans, brown boots and a pale shirt while carrying a black bag on his shoulder as he walked around the back of car to make his way to the ITV studio.
The TV presenter looked down in a pensive manner as the photographer snapped away.
Speaking to , a source said: ‘He will think he can tough it out, like he has previous controversies such as Queue-gate.
‘But to be honest, it’s out of his hands. If the viewers don’t believe in him and Holly, something’s got to give – and that will most likely be Phil. It’s a massive week for them both.’
It was claimed that despite their long-standing friendship and working relationship on TV, Phillip and Holly no longer talked behind the scenes as their bond had ‘cooled’.

In a statement shared last week, Phillip described Holly as his ‘rock’.
