Despite official figures from BARB claiming Piers’ show Uncensored has seen its audience shrink from almost 400,000 down to 58,000 in less than three weeks and been beaten by Nigel Farage’s GB News show which airs at 7pm, he remains defiant that all is going to plan.
He tweeted: ‘UPDATE: beat Sky News & GB News in the UK ratings AGAIN last night.. still very early days, but the show is already gaining real traction around the world, making lots of news, and as I hoped, annoying all the right people.’
Simon, however, wasn’t convinced and asked: ‘Please show the figures.’
Then it got nasty. Quickly.

Simon reminded Piers he’d retired and that was the end of that before he was blocked.
Naturally, with Piers’ loud stance on free-speech, people were amused by his decision to abandon the spat with a block:
‘You’ve been censored,’ teased one of Simon’s followers, which was echoed by another equally bemused fan who wrote: ‘He bangs on about free speech, unless you don’t agree with him obviously.’
Since TalkTV launched on April 25, Piers has welcomed the likes of Caitlyn Jenner, Mel B and even the spokesperson for the Taliban onto his show, but no one has been able to draw the same pull as former president, Donald Trump.
He does remain the channel’s most popular presenter though, even if his colleagues aren’t providing much of a contest.
