is no stranger to complaints – 58,000 of them to be precise – for his controversial views on television, so it’s no wonder he’s trying to get a head start on the haters.

The broadcaster, 57, is on TalkTV on April 25, giving him a platform to share his views without a filter.

However, he knows from past experience that that won’t rub everyone up the right way – so Piers took to Twitter to beat the complainers to it.

He tweeted: ‘To save time….’ along with short video clip of him pointing above his head, where the address for the TalkTV complaints department appeared.

Well, at least he has a sense of humour about it.

Piers also revealed that his production team had bought him the most spot-on gift basket in honour of his first dress rehearsal ahead of the big launch.

He tweeted: ‘My first full dress rehearsal for – and my brilliant team gave me this gift basket. They know me well!’

In the hamper, six bottles of wine could be seen along with Piers Morgan Uncensored baseball caps, a notebook reading ‘Woke Is A Joke’, Nelson Mandela’s autobiography and a mug reading ‘F**k it, I’m out.’

The gift also included a print for Piers’ new dressing room with a quote from Winston Churchill, reading: ‘Some people’s idea of free speech is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone says anything back, that is an outrage.’

Piers had quit Good Morning Britain in March 2021after storming off in the middle of a show after an argument with Alex Beresford after this comments about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

from viewers, which were later rejected by regulatory body Ofcom.

Piers Morgan Uncensored will launch on Monday, April 25 on Talk TV.
