Pink shared a selfie of the pair on a snowy holiday, smiling for the camera, and continued: ‘It is gritty and sweet. Thank you for being by my side all these years. I love you forever.’

Carey, 49, also wrote an anniversary message to his wife on his own page about their near two decades together.

’19 years married today to this amazing woman @‌pink,’ he wrote. ‘For over 20 years we’ve travelled the world, made a family, and created amazing memories & life together.

‘Not bad for a couple kids who weren’t expected to amount to anything. You are like a fine wine, and I love you.’

Pink proposed to Carey while he was in a race in Mammoth Lakes, California, writing ‘Will U Marry Me?’ on a board and holding it up for him to see.

It was then when she wrote ‘Serious!’ during the next lap that he pulled in and accepted, before going on to finish the race.

The pair, who share two children — daughter Willow, 12, and Jameson, eight — married the following year in Costa Rica.

After two years, they hit a rocky patch and separated, with Carey appearing in the music video for So What? which is reportedly about the split.

She wrote on her website at the time that they still ‘love each other so so much’ and added: ‘This breakup is not about cheating, anger, or fighting.’

They sought marriage counselling, which Pink later credited as the ‘only reason that we’re still together’.

In 2010, the Beautiful Trauma singer confirmed they were back together and expecting their first child together.
