has revealed that her husband, truck racer and motorcyclist Carey Hart, picked up one of the nastiest injuries possible during a daring stunt.
The American singer, 44, whose biggest hits include Just Like a Pill and Get the Party Started, married Carey, 48, in 2006 – the couple have two children together.
Despite Hart , So What, which detailed their apparent split, the their relationship.
And now the singer, whose real name is Alecia Moore, has revealed that, in the early days of their relationship, Carey picked up an incredibly gruesome injury.
During an interview on Australian radio, the Family Portrait hitmaker revealed that Carey’s Prince Albert piercing was horribly ripped out after a stunt went wrong.
‘You know, Carey got his Prince Albert pierced back in the day? Two weeks later he did a [motorcycle] jump and it ripped out,’ she told the stunned KIIS FM hosts.
Though it’s not clear exactly when the incident took place, it can be presumed that it happened during the 2000s when Carey was at the height of his stunt career.
KIIS FM presenter Kyle Sandilands admitted he was feeling rather unwell after hearing the story, saying: ‘Blood everywhere? I’m crippled just hearing that.’
By all accounts, Carey healed up pretty quickly and was back on the bike (literally) in no time, with his stunt career continuing until 2013 when he retired at age 37.
The pair met in 2001 in Philadelphia and, after their first brief split which took place in 2003, the singer proposed to Carey during a 2005 race before they tied the knot the following year.
Shortly before his retirement, Carey and Pink welcomed daughter Willow Sage into the world in 2011, before son Jameson Moon was born in 2016.
Throughout their 23 years together, the couple’s relationship has faced its problems, with divorce looking to be very much on the cards in 2008.
After months of rumours that year, the two separated, with Pink writing break-up song So What during the immediate aftermath – although Carey curiously starred in the music video.
Shortly afterward, Carey revealed the two were dating again and attempting to patch things up, with marriage counselling helping them get back together.
However, Pink admitted in January 2024 that , telling her Instagram followers that they ‘almost didn’t make’ the milestone.
‘We almost didn’t make it to this one, well a couple of them, if I’m being honest. When I met you, 22 years ago, I just wanted someone that wouldn’t lie to me. I didn’t have a clue about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, trust.’
She continued: ‘The family we’ve built and the stories we have weaved together and the memories we continue to make are worth more than a thousand million awards that anyone could give me. I love you and I love us.’
