has revealed she wanted to get back together with after their split.
The former couple announced they were together earlier this year, before shortly after.
Speaking in a new interview, 34-year-old Laura explained that her and 41-year-old Gary’s situation has now become ‘too chaotic’ and she’s simply focusing on welcoming her daughter into the world.
Former Love Island star Laura is currently 25 weeks pregnant and due to give birth in August.
Taking part in a maternity shoot, the soon-to-be mum-of-one was quick to shut down claims she and Gary split because she planned to move to Scotland.
It was previously reported that Gary refused to leave England because of the four children he shares with his ex-wife Natasha Gray.
‘That’s not true,’ Laura insisted, adding, ‘I was always moving to Essex.’
Speaking , she went on: ‘[The breakup is] really hard to explain.
‘I wanted us to reconcile and I wanted things to work out, but because of things I found out since then, and the fact nothing has been discussed or resolved, I think for now I’m trying to just be positive and think about the baby and be strong, because everything became too chaotic.’
Laura met former Hollyoaks actor Gary last summer when they both took part in Celebs Go Dating.
The TV personality’s pregnancy has been a tumultuous ride following her split from Gary, with her previously admitting they were .
She was also said to be ‘so upset’ that her ex had ’without her consent’ in March.
Gary announced the pair were via an Instagram story post with a photo of a pink crown and ‘daddy’s girl’ written underneath.
It also featured a baby scan and the message: ‘For everyone that’s been asking… let’s hope she inherits her mummy’s looks.’
Gary also told his followers: ‘Thanks for all the lovely messages from everyone… so excited to meet my little baby bear soon!’
