Pretty Deadly have a huge match in mind for when comes to Cardiff later this year.
The Tag Team Champions Kit Wilson and Elton Prince would love to be involved at Principality Stadium – the first premium live event in the UK since SummerSlam 1992 – by taking on The Usos to truly unify the Tag Team Titles.
Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Elton said: ‘Big Roman [Reigns], the Big Dawg, wants The Usos to unify all the championships, right? So let’s say they wanna take a trip to NXT and unify all three? There’s your dream match!
‘Obviously they ain’t got the goods, but they think they’ve got the goods. September 3rd. The first stadium show in, what, 30 years? Pretty Deadly versus The Usos for all three championships?’
‘Now that sounds like a premium… live… event,’ Kit quipped.
The Usos have long been a dream match for the charismatic duo, and they pointed to Jimmy and Jey’s brother Solo Sikoa as a member of the NXT roster they could target to get their way.
‘I think the resume speaks for iteslf. They’ve been in this company and dominated this company for multiple years, and they’ve changed themselves, and got better and better,’ Kit gushed
‘And I hear they’ve got a certain family member in the same brand we’re on. So we’re tempted – I’m not saying we will, but we might jump him in the parking lot, just see what happens. Just a little message!’
Elton went a step further and insisted The Bloodline isn’t actually as close as they’d like to think, claiming .
He said: ‘We’re closer. I can read his mind, he can read my mind. What am I thinking right now?’
Kit correctly guessed it was The Usos, and Elton added: ‘What’s exactly what I was thinking! We would love to prove – OK, you might be brothers, but Pretty Deadly are closer.’
Of course, the numbers game would be against Pretty Deadly considering The Bloodline counts Jimmy, Jey and Roman in its ranks – even without including Solo, or current fringe member Sami Zayn.
‘The reality of it is,w e’d have to trust our bond. When you come into a new brand and you have one match and you win a championship, it doesn’t make friends. You don’t make many friends, that’s the reality,’ Elton explained. ‘We won’t have any backup because no one likes us, but the reality is, we don’t need it.’
The pair are certainly confident – with good reason – and they described themselves as ‘the Elevators’, and now in NXT 2.0, where they have had a steady presence since early April.
‘We’re the elevators and the main eventers – we’ve got many names. We’re also the Killer Queens, we’re also the Brothers in Garms, we’re also the Grum-Tum-Tuggers, the Dandy Highwaymen. We’ve got a few,’ Elton laughed.
‘Our goal is definitely just try and elevate the NXT brand. Their tag division has been on fire for the last year, but we know that we bring something completely different. Whenever there’s differences in wrestling, there’s fun, shall we say?
‘Then of course, we’ll go on we’ll elevate Raw, and then we’ll go on and we’ll elevate SmackDown. And then we’ll go and elevate WrestleMania!’
