Musician , best known for , has confirmed he was diagnosed with last year.
Speaking in his first interview since the pandemic, the 50-year-old revealed he’d undergone surgery to remove the cancer.
The star also said the surgery was successful but added that he’s ‘still healing’.
Homme refused to share many details about his diagnosis but during his new interview got an ‘occasional twinge of pain’.
Speaking to , Homme shared: ‘Cancer is just the cherry on top of an interesting time period, you know?
‘I’m extremely thankful that I’ll get through this, and I’ll look back at this as something that’s f****d up — but will have made me better.’
He added: ‘I’m cool with that. There’s a lot of stuff I want to do. And there’s a lot of people I want to do that with.’
Although published on Monday, Homme’s interview took place back in April, a month after he accused of putting their children in ‘great danger’.
The exes share Camille, 17, Orrin, 11, and Wolf, seven, and were married between 2005 and 2019.
A statement released by Homme in March accused Dalle and her boyfriend Gunner Foxx of causing the children ‘emotional harm’.

It went on: ‘The situation was exacerbated by the inappropriate actions of her boyfriend Gunner Foxx.’
Homme also accused Dalle and Foxx of ‘behaving in a way that has not only caused the children emotional harm, but have also put them in great danger’.
On March 16, Home was granted a restraining order against Dalle for a period of one year and 11 months.
According to Revolver, Homme’s teenage daughter was at his home at the time of the interview.
