She offered up a rare insight into their family in a new chat with Willie Geist, airing on Sunday Today, when she was questioned on plans to share the screen with her husband.
‘I think we aren’t going to at the moment,’ she told the host. ‘I think we really love our private life as a life, as a family, and then we go to work separately.
‘We really enjoyed that experience, but I think it’s nicer to — it also means we can alternate. So I can stay home with the family while he works, we can swap out.
‘If we’re both doing something at the same time, it’s probably less ideal.’
Rachel is also mom to son Henry with former partner Darren Aronofsky, while Daniel shares daughter Ella with his ex-wife, Fiona Loudon.
The couple first met in 1994 while starring in a production of Les Grandes Horizontales at the National Theatre Studio in London.

The full interview will air on NBC News’ Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist on April 16.
