Kyle Richards and husband Mauricio Umansky ‘spent time apart’ amid marriage ‘struggles’, it has been claimed.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG, 53, married the real estate mogul, 54, in 1996, with much of their marriage playing out on the Bravo series.
They were recently forced to , and released a joint statement explaining that they had endured a ‘rough year’.
A source has since claimed that, although their issues aren’t ‘new’, they have been trying to make things ‘work’ behind the scenes.

‘Their problems aren’t new. They had been spending time apart and doing their own things, but they have been trying to make things work.’
Kyle and Mauricio first met in the early 90s and have been inseparable ever since, tying the knot in 1996.
They share three daughters, Alexia, Sophia and Portia – while Kyle is also mom to Farrah Brittany from a previous marriage.
On Monday, an insider alleged that they after 27 years of marriage.
‘Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof,’ they said at the time.
‘They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.’
However, the pair swiftly released a joint statement shutting down any speculation -while admitting that they had faced a rough patch.
‘In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue,’ they shared on their separate Instagram pages.
‘However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously.
‘There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through parishes privately.
‘While it might be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.’
