Sonja Morgan suffered a very awkward medical emergency while having sex, revealing that she ‘popped a stitch’ from a recent liposuction procedure.
The Real Housewives of icon was joined by Bravo co-star Luann de Lesseps for their new series, Welcome to Crappie Lake.
The program followed the pair as they swapped the Big Apple for Benton, helping locals to spruce up the town after it was devastated by the pandemic.
However, it was never going to be that simple, with a trailer showing them causing utter chaos with the locals.
At one point, Sonja found herself growing close to a local trucker, when she encountered an issue after previously going under the knife.
‘I popped a stitch from my liposuction,’ the 59-year-old casually confessed during an episode of the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
For his part, Billy was said to be totally unfussed by the ordeal, as Luann, 58, continued: ‘It didn’t even register in this guy’s head…’
At least it wasn’t a total mood killer…
Reflecting on their visit to Illinois, Sonja added: ‘Luann got over that real quick. She was like, “Sonja, you can’t be wearing a compression garment on the show. It’s 110 degrees”.
‘The lipo has to drain and I didn’t know all this for reals. But we get through anything, Luann and I. We have no problem.’
There was no rest for Sonja and Luann as they jetted straight from Crappie Lake over to St Barts, to get started on .

The gang steered clear of Dorinda’s Bluestone Manor – instead jetting off to a sun-drenched paradise.
Maybe some of the Crappie Lake gang could make a cameo?
