Luann de Lesseps has teased that the upcoming Ultimate Girls Trip will remind us all of that iconic Scary Island getaway, and we are absolutely ready for the chaos.
After Bravo bosses , some of the most iconic stars returned for a spin-off series, including Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley.
Spilling the beans on what we can expect from the new episodes, Luann suggested that some scenes were similar to their infamous season three getaway – where Kelly Killoren Bensimon clashed with Bethenny Frankel, giving new meaning to the phrase, ‘go to sleep’.
‘It’s like Scary Island part two,’ the 58-year-old joked about season five of the Ultimate Girls Trip.
‘It was a great trip. When you have that many women together, there’s always going to be something. And I love it because the fourth wall comes down a lot.’
‘We’re talking about our perspective of what happened years ago,’ she added to . ‘I love that for the fans, because they want to know what we thought about that years ago.’
Kelly and Kristen Taekman will be rounding out the cast while Bethenny and Jill Zarin, who were initially linked to the series, are not thought to be involved.
Before we get a glimpse at the gang in St Barts, Sonja and Luann jetted over to Illinois to film their very own spin-off, Welcome to Crappie Lake.
The program followed the pair as they swapped the Big Apple for Benton, helping to give the town some much needed TLC after the pandemic.
Of course, it was never going to be that simple, with a trailer .
At one point, Sonja found herself growing close to a local trucker, when she accidentally encountered an issue after previously going under the knife.
‘I popped a stitch from my liposuction,’ she admitted during an episode of the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
Thankfully, her beau appeared to be totally unbothered by the ordeal, as Luann continued: ‘It didn’t even register in this guy’s head…’
At least it wasn’t a total mood killer…
Sonja added of their visit: ‘Luann got over that real quick. She was like, “Sonja, you can’t be wearing a compression garment on the show. It’s 110 degrees”.
‘The lipo has to drain and I didn’t know all this for reals. But we get through anything, Luann and I. We have no problem.’
