Ronan Keating brands ex-manager Louis Walsh a ‘jealous bullsh***er’ in newly resurfaced comments

, 71, created boy band Boyzone in 1993, of which Ronan was one of the five members.

In the chat, he called Ronan a ‘p***k’ and challenged claims he was a ‘lovely guy’.

‘He hasn’t had a hit record… since I left. He sacked me,’ he added.

Now an old recording where Ronan slammed Louis has emerged, and his own comments wereabout his band’s former manager.

At the height of their row in 2006, Ronan can be heard on the tape ranting: ‘He hurt me, he really hurt me and he knows it.

‘I don’t have any time for the guy. We’re a million miles from each other,’ he said, as reported by .

‘I’ve no respect for Louis because he has none for me. He was very jealous of me.’

He continued: ‘I had to sack him because he wouldn’t manage me.

‘He’s a very selfish character. It’s bullsh** man. He’s a bullsh***er.’

The interview was conducted by biographer and veteran celebrity interviewer Rob McGibbon, who released the tape after hearing Louis’ comments on the ITV reality series.

The pair first met when Ronan was 16 after he responded to an ad in a newspaper about a boy band Louis was looking to form.

Boyzone ended up having six number one singles in the UK, four number one albums and they remain the second most successful British boyband behind Take That.

After Ronan took a break from the band to go solo in 1999, Louis continued to be his manager as the performer released hits like When You Say Nothing At All and Life is a Rollercoaster.

Although they seemed to remain close, in 2012 Louis branded Ronan ‘talentless and spoiled’, kicking off a back-and-forth that continues to this day.

Ronan had previously said Louis should ‘move on and be happy with what he has achieved’.

‘He’s had a great career. It’s no life to be bitter and talk negatively about people – it festers in your soul,’ he previously told Magic FM’s Magic in the Morning Breakfast Show.
