Ryan Reynolds has commemorated the end of filming for Deadpool 3 in the most Ryan Reynolds way possible – by sharing a photo of his crotch.
The 47-year-old is set to star , and will be bringing Wolverine, aka , along for the action.
Deadpool 3, directed by Shawn Levy, , with production wrapping on the sequel earlier today.
Taking to Twitter, Ryan gave fans a , revealing that blood, sweat and years had been shed on set.
Alongside a very zoomed-in shot of his crotch, Ryan said: The suit hides the blood. Also sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears.
‘A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and @RealHughJackman … all under the stalwart leadership of @ShawnLevyDirect.
‘I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn’t happen very often. See ya July 26th.’
Right on cue, fans were delighted by the update and celebrated Ryan’s announcement in the replies.
One quipped: ‘Has a crotch shot ever brought more emotion?’
Another couldn’t help but question: ‘Are the pouches functional? What’s in them? What do they smell like inside? Oh and congrats!’
‘Leave it to Ryan Reynolds to do a groin shot in his Deadpool costume,’ a follower said.
A Twitter user posted: ‘This movie is going to be the full package.’
As filmmaker Shawn replied: ‘Had the greatest time of my life shooting this movie. Post production starts at dawn.’
Hugh also took to social media to announce that his beard had officially been trimmed, .
‘What a ride!!! I’ve loved every minute of making this movie. Well not the training and diet but the other 93.2%,’ he added, beside snaps of himself mid-shave.

If it feels like a long wait for Wade Wilson to finally return to our screens, that’s because it has been – as Ryan first announced the film a few years ago, before sharing that Hugh had joined the cast in 2022, with Emma Corrin following suit last February.
We were first introduced to Deadpool in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, before he landed his very own spin-off series, which premiered to huge success in 2016.
He returned to the big screen for a sequel in 2018, with Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin and Zazie Beetz also taking part.
Deadpool 3 will be in cinemas on July 26.
