‘Don’t get drunk and order picnic tables for squirrels,’ he tweeted alongside a photo.
‘Why am I like this,’ he added, but it’s safe to say we are now fully invested in the Susie the squirrel saga.
Deciding that he needed to put it out, Rylan filled the table top with nuts and, sure enough, a furry friend came to enjoy them in his garden.
The squirrel – who he has named Susie – is absolutely obsessed with the purchase, and the Big Brother winner has been giving his followers updates on her visits.
‘Look at Susie, look,’ he said as he filmed the animal eating from the table.
‘Look at her, you alright, Susie? You alright, darling? Little picnic. She loves it, absolutely loves it,’ he said while filming.
In another clip, the X Factor alum caught ‘Susie’ sitting on the furniture and told her off.
‘Erm, excuse me. Feet off the table please. Feet off the table. Susie! For goodness sake,’ he joked.
The radio presenter’s Twitter followers are absolutely living for the wholesome content, with one asking Rylan to ‘set up a squirrel cam.’
‘This is just brilliant, I think you now have a permanent new resident at your home!’ one wrote.
‘Rylan, thank you so much for the fun and laughs… just what we really need now,’ tweeted another.
One Twitter user even joked that the star should dedicate TEN to Susie, which is his upcoming book.
Rylan’s will take readers on the journey of his life and career since he first became a household name on telly a decade ago.
