Saturday Night Takeaway’s Stephen Mulhern forced to reassure viewers he’s ‘ok’ after worrying fall on roller skates

fans made sure to check in on after he suffered a fall on stage while for the show’s finale.

On this week’s episode, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly jetted off to with their team and a plane full of competition winners to wrap up this series.

While there were plenty of fun and to be had, Stephen, 46, ended up after trying to get around on roller skates.

The final Ant vs. Dec segment saw the two presenters pitted against each other in a trivia game, where the loser had a massive pie thrown in their face.

And after Ant lost the challenge for the second year in a row, he was left with not egg, but pie on his face, and couldn’t resist rushing over to Stephen for a cuddle to make sure he wasn’t the only one covered in cream.

However, given that Stephen wasn’t wearing the most sensible footwear, well, you can imagine how it ended.

Viewers quickly took to social media to check that he was ok after Stephen fell to the ground, before the fall was addressed later in the show.

‘Now you had a bit of a fall earlier on… are you ok?,’ the boys asked him.

‘Oh I’m absolutely fine but my knees on this stage… it’s hotter than the Earth,’ he replied.

Ant and Dec then both said they were glad he was feeling fine as people at home were ‘quite concerned’.

Appearing baffled that people actually ‘cared’, Stephen gave his blessing for his fall to be replayed so everyone could have a chuckle at his clumsiness.

‘Ant and Dec replaying Stephen falling, I love their friendship,’ one person posted on social media.

‘Stephen cracks me up. The funniest guy,’ another added.

The boys were clearly enjoying poking fun at their colleague, who has loved pushing them to their limits throughout the series.

Two weeks ago, the In For A Penny frontman had us all in stitches when he gave the green light for .

‘Get him in, get him in!’, Ant chanted, as the studio audience begged to see Dec dunked also.

‘Don’t you dare, don’t you dare,’ Dec begged, but his desperate pleas fell on deaf ears.

‘Stephen, don’t you dare! Stop it, stop it!’, he shouted, before being submerged in the horrifically cold bath.

He then jokingly told Stephen he was going to exact revenge at some point.
