Congratulations are in order as and Sam Vaughan have reportedly married in Spain.
The couple, who’ve been , are said to have made it official on Saturday, June 1 in Sitges, near Barcelona.
The Radio 2 presenter has been with his partner for seven years, with the pair set to make their TV show debut together shortly on the
The tough competition reality show has only strengthened their bond, with the boys looking loved-up ahead of their nuptials.
As excitement mounted, Sam shared an image earlier this week of clinking glasses filled with fizz and wrote: ‘Let’s jet off to get married then.’
Also flying in for the special day were guests Rylan, Calvin Harris, Vick Hope, Zoe Ball and Chris Stark, who were more than happy to be involved with the special occasion. Before taking off, Zoe told listeners on her BBC Radio 1 show: ‘So this weekend our boy Scott Mills is getting married, to our friend Sam who often works on the breakfast show….
‘So excited to watch them walking down the aisle. They are gorgeous, gorgeous boys.’
Scott, 51, previously told Metro.co.uk he was hoping could also be in attendance.
‘I really want him there. Is it difficult to get a dog to Spain? I’ve never tried. Sam’s like, “We can’t bring him,” but I really, really want him to be there. I don’t know how that works, we’ll have to get him a passport,’ he shared.
While the four-legged guest may not have made it, they had plenty of people celebrating their love and were treated to entertainment for making the journey.
Artist Callum Scott performed at a pre-wedding party called ‘The Night Before’ which took place at the Sky Bar, which boasted sea viewes.
The carefully organised celebrations have been months in the works, and have involved Scott alongside Sam flying over to perfect their day by taking part in tastings, and venue visits.
The pair were dressed by celebrity stylist Stevie B Shindler, who shared a glimpse of Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent hangers during wedding preparations months ago. The men were definitely suited and booted!
Before arriving in Spain, Scott was made to feel special by his ‘other husband’ Rylan, who led some on-air celebrations.
While holding a Bride-to-be balloon and wearing a hen do sash, Scott was smiling as Rylan planted a kiss on his cheek.
‘Thankyou to my other husband @rylan for planning the best two hours ever on today’s show @bbcradio2,’ he wrote in the accompanying caption.
‘Love you loads Ry, and thank you to everyone for all the good luck messages for me and @samvaughan89 it was so lovely.’
When announcing their engagement in October 2021, Scott romantically wrote: ‘You make me laugh every single day, you support me in so many ways and I adore everything about you.’
Scott, who previously thought he wouldn’t get married, added: ‘We’ve had some amazing times, and I’m bursting with happiness to know we will have so many more. I love you with all my heart.’
Congratulations Scott and Sam!
