Selena Gomez has pleaded with fans to leave Hailey Bieber alone after reports of their drama made headlines.
The 30-year-old took to Instagram to – who is married to – with hate and ‘death threats’.
‘Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,’ she penned.
‘This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying.
‘I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.’
The pair basically broke the internet last October when , seemingly ending any talk of bad blood.
However, rumors of a feud ramped their way up again earlier this year over an apparent dig about eyebrows.
If you happened to miss the chaos, Selena managed to reclaim her crown, leapfrogging Kylie Jenner.
The Kardashians star after she was accused of mocking the Only Murders In The Building actress in a playful snap with Hailey, which literally raised eyebrows.
After Selena joked that she had overlaminated her brows, the 25-year-old happened to upload a screenshot of a FaceTime call between herself and her pal, where they had zoomed into their own, leading many to connect the two incidents.
The beauty mogul quickly attempted to squash any suggestions of a feud, telling one follower: ‘This is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts!
‘U guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly [sic].’
The Lose You To Love Me singer then jumped in to share her support, writing: ‘Agreed @kyliejenner It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!’
Although that may have been put to bed, things got messy once more when Selena then spotted an old video making the rounds on TikTok, of Hailey appearing to shade her best friend, Taylor Swift.
She defended the Love Story singer in the comments section, replying: ‘So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game.’
Eagle-eyed followers quickly picked up on the comment and flooded the Rhode Beauty founder’s Instagram page with hateful messages.
Selena , stating that she had the ‘best fans’ and the best people around her.
‘I’m very happy, I’m so blessed. I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world. I just couldn’t be happier,’ she declared. ‘I’m good. I love who I am, I don’t care, I’m good.
‘I’m going to be taking a second from social media, because this is a little silly. I’m 30, I’m too old for this.
‘But I love you guys so much and I will see you guys sooner than later. I’m just going to take a break from everything.’
