Many fans have already binged their way through the whole of season 5 and want to know, will Maya Vander be leaving?
Maya has been on the series since it began back in 2019 and has been working with Jason and Brett Oppenheim for years, as one of their most trusted realtors.
She revealed she was planning on relocating to Miami in the season finale, after juggling her time between there and LA in recent years.
Fans know Maya ended up flying back and forth from LA to Miami to film and keep up her business in California during the latest season and has always been open about how often she’s had to travel.
The reality show favourite has also had a difficult year, revealing back in November , which is when a baby is born dead after 24 completed weeks of pregnancy.
Ahead of the show’s reunion, here’s everything we know so far on whether Maya will be in future seasons of Selling Sunset.
Has Maya Vander left The Oppenheim Group?
Maya has actually set up her own luxury real estate business, appropriately called The Maya Vander Group.
‘My business in Miami is really doing well. I started my own team here. I have a few girls that work with me. And the market in Miami is great,’ she told .
An insider said of Maya’s status in the company: ‘She’s still with the Oppenheim Group and is doing deals in both LA and Florida.’
‘She actually still works with Jason [Oppenheim] even though she’s in Florida since she has clients there,’ the insider told .
After a little digging, we can see Maya is still listed as an agent at The Oppenheim Group, with her profile available to view.
We also can’t imagine Maya waving goodbye to the madness of Selling Sunset for good, especially considering her close working relationship with Brett and Jason.
Hopefully, this means Maya will make a return in season six.
She did recently suggest on The Domenick Nati Show in December that she probably wouldn’t return full-time.
“I’m probably not going to be a full-time cast member because it’s going to be difficult for me logistically to do the back-and-forth again,’ she said.
Meanwhile, Christine and Vanessa Villela’s profiles are still on the site, after hinting they may be set to quit the brokerage.
