Sharon Osbourne will welcome back to Twitter with open arms if Elon Musk has his way.
Tesla founder Musk has revealed his plans to reverse former President Trump’s Twitter ban, after for a cool $44billion (£34.5bn).
Mr Trump was banned from the site in 2020 after being accused of inciting an insurrection on the US Capitol following the presidential election results.
However, he could resume tweeting constantly from the crack of dawn again if Musk reinstates his account on the platform.
Sharing her thoughts on the businessman’s proposed plans, The Talk presenter Sharon said: ‘If they have the Taliban and the guy that runs Iran, they might as well have Trump.’
She: ‘Everybody has the right, even the Taliban.
‘I love Elon, so I don’t have anything bad to say.’
Sharon’s good friend Musk’s purchase of Twitter, describing the multi-billionaire as ‘an absolute flagbearer for free speech’.
The Uncensored host told Fox News: ‘He talks about this “woke mindset virus” and I think he’s right, it is a virus. If you go around wanting to destroy everything that gets in your way that you don’t agree with, then you become a really dangerous thing in society.
‘Elon Musk wants to return free speech. I think he recognises that it’s completely ridiculous, for example, that Donald Trump is banned from Twitter and yet people who still have accounts, including Vladimir Putin, the supreme leader of Iran, and Taliban leaders.
‘Now, how can that be right? How can that be justified that a social media platform allows them accounts but bans Donald Trump?’
