The 79-year-old Beatles legend projected his music video featuring Depp for his song My Valentine onto four large screens on stage at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando over the weekend as part of his Got Back tour.
Depp was seen alongside Natalie Portman in the 2012 music video, in which the actors could be seen interpreting the song through sign language.
Sir Paul didn’t address the video in the clip, he just played along to it on his piano.
The iconic musician directed the video, which was based on an original idea inspired by his daughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney, and has often used it during his live performances over the years.
Metro.co.uk understands the clip has been in Sir Paul’s live set for over 10 years.
Fans attending the concert shared clips capturing the moment on social media, in which the crowd could be heard responding with cheers.
One fan wrote: ‘Paul McCartney giving love to Johnny Depp. Tonight in Orlando, FL. #gotbacktour #PaulMcCartney #JohnnyDepp.’
Addressing the clip online, another fan recalled Sir Paul’s own highly publicised divorce from Heather Mills in 2008, which resulted in Mills being awarded a £24.3million divorce payout.
After more than a month of testimony, the jury has begun their deliberations in Depp’s defamation case.

Depp is seeking $50m (£39m) in damages over the article, while Heard is countersuing for $100m (£79m), alleging that he libelled her by calling her a liar.
