This month, viewers will finally be transported back to the world of the thrilling Netflix series as a new adventure awaits Eleven () and the rest of the gang in .
However, for fans in the UK who want to take their love for the sci-fi show a step further, they can experience what it’s like to explore Hawkins Lab, the Upside Down and more in a new immersive experience coming to this summer.
The creators of Stranger Things, the Duffer Brothers, had a hand in bringing the experience to life, so guests should expect it’ll stay as close to the series as humanly – or inhumanly – possible.
Set in the year 1986 in Hawkins, those who take part will discover a new storyline developed specifically for the event, as they’re lurched into a parallel universe and embark on a mission to save their town.
Once they’ve made their way out of the Upside Down, they can experience the fun of the 80s at the arcade, a Stranger Things-themed bar and can gorge on ice cream at Scoops Ahoy.
We imagine this will provide a huge nostalgia kick for anyone who was a teen at a time when Pac-Man and John Hughes films were in their prime.
Greg Lombardo, head of experiences at Netflix, explained how the experience will see attendees join forces with Eleven, Mike and the rest of the gang to keep the evil forces at bay.
As well as London, the immersive experience is also being held in New York and San Francisco over the next couple of months, as fans swarm to grab tickets.
The experience lasts for at least 45 minutes, before guests are allowed to spend as much time as they want at the recreations of the iconic Stranger Things locations, with when they’re made available from May 12.
