Ore Oduba has shared his family’s plight after being caught up in the travel chaos that has hit thousands of British holidaymakers who are now stranded abroad.

Around 10% of flights departing and arriving at UK airports suffered delays on Monday due to a glitch that left air traffic controllers with no choice but to manually input flight plans. This sparked delays for hundreds of thousands of travellers and the disruption is expected to continue for days.
Ore’s wife Portia detailed their ordeal in her Instagram stories and revealed that they didn’t have nappies or clean underwear for their children.
‘Currently ‘stranded’ in Greece with no flight home,’ she wrote alongside photos of her looking exasperated.
‘No nappies and no clean knickers. @easyjet have cancelled all flights leaving till Sunday. But it’s ok. They’ve offered us a voucher for the next time we fly. Maybe we can fly home on that, magic carpet style. ?? great customer service @easyjet.’
She joked: ‘I better sharpen up on my Greek as at this rate we are going to become citizens.’
Portia, who married Ore, 37, in 2015, shared more details in a video, explaining: ‘The next available flight from where we’re staying back to London Gatwick isn’t until Sunday I believe so we’re trying to find an alternative flight, potentially trying to get to another island and fly with a different airline who’s flights are all still leaving.’
The mum-of-two also revealed how Roman and Genie were ‘not playing ball’ and began to ‘kick up’ a fuss as she and Ore tried to organise another room at their hotel.
‘It’s all been quite stressful as you can imagine – as it will be for many, many people this week. We do however have an amazing travel rep who is trying her very best to get us home!’ she said.
‘Also. The kids have no clean clothes left and I don’t have any clean knicks… so that’s great. Sink washes all round.’
Ore and Portia aren’t the only ones stranded abroad as Christine McGuinness and Dawn O’Porter have detailed their ordeals while stuck in sunny destinations overseas.

However, finding the good out of a bad situation, she added: ‘I had jobs booked all week, a million thigs to do at home getting ready to prep for “back to school” but… we [were] meant to stay longer, we have more memories to make, time with my babies is priceless.’
Presenter from Spain and said: ‘Anyone with any knowledge know if there is any chance of landing at Gatwick today? Should I go through security or not? THAT IS THE QUESTION.
‘On my own with the kids so deffo don’t want to be stuck there for the night. Obvs no one here knows anything.’
