Taylor Swift fans convinced she’s headlining Super Bowl Halftime show after huge NFL announcement

fans are convinced that she is gearing up to headline next year’s Halftime show, after a major NFL announcement.

The corporation confirmed that Apple Music has replaced Pepsi as their newest partner for the iconic show, with the Super Bowl final taking place on February 12, in Glendale, Arizona.

‘We are proud to welcome Apple Music to the NFL family as our new partner for the iconic Super Bowl Halftime Show,’ Nana-Yaw Asamoah, SVP of Partner Strategy for the NFL, said in a statement.

‘We couldn’t think of a more appropriate partner for the world’s most-watched musical performance than Apple Music, a service that entertains, inspires, and motivates millions of people around the world through the intersection of music and technology.’

Oliver Schusser, Vice President of Apple Music and Beats, added in a separate message: ‘Music and sports hold a special place in our hearts, so we’re very excited Apple Music will be part of music and football’s biggest stage

‘We’re looking forward to even more epic performances next year and beyond with the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.’

The announcement was made at midnight, with the timing of the news raising eyebrows among Swifties.

Taylor has a strong affinity to that particular time –, is on the way next month, meaning she’ll have plenty of new material to perform for the world in February.

As well as this, the change in sponsorship from Pepsi to Apple means that there will no longer be a conflict with her relationship with Coca-Cola.

The Bad Blood singer is known for blessing us all with Easter eggs relating to her upcoming music or new projects, leading fans to put the puzzle pieces together themselves.

Flocking to social media, a Twitter user predicted: ‘Taylor Swift gonna be the Superbowl halftime show. Calling it now [sic].’

Another agreed: ‘ME THINKS TAYLOR SWIFT IS FINALLY PUTTING ON A SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW!!!

‘I gotta respect Taylor’s hustle. She’s probably headlining the Superbowl this year [sic],’ a follower penned.

‘So all I’m seeing is Taylor Swift Super Bowl Halftime show 2023,’ one said.

Going the extra mile, a fan even shared their dream set list for the musician to play on the night.

‘If Taylor Swift should ever perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, this is my setlist prediction,’ they added.

‘Ready For It? (Intro) YBWM & Love Story (Mashup) Blank Space WANEGBT & IKYWT (Mashup of Rock Versions) Lover (First Dance Remix) Shake It Off.’

We would absolutely be down for that.

If Taylor does land the gig, she’ll be following in some very famous footsteps – Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Madonna, The Weeknd and Bruno Mars are just some of the other names who have performed in the iconic slot.

of Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Dr Dre and a surprise cameo from 50 Cent – which was watched by more than 120 million people and landed three Emmy Awards.
