Teresa Giudice has doubled down on claims that Sofia Vergara is the ‘rudest’ celebrity she has ever met.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star previously spoke out over an awkward interaction she had with the Modern Family actress in 2017, admitting it left a bad taste in her mouth.
On the latest episode of her Namaste B$tches , the 51-year-old unpacked their meeting further, explaining that they bumped into each other while backstage at Mario Lopez’s show.
‘Either I was going on first or she was going on first,’ she told her co-host, Melissa Pfeister.
‘I didn’t even know any of this – Sofia Vergara’s PR person and my PR person spoke together, and I guess the two of them said, “Let’s get a picture of Teresa and Sofia together.”
“I didn’t want a picture with her. I’ve never asked to take a picture with anybody unless it just happens.
‘I don’t go out of my way to ask to take a picture with anybody just to put it on my Instagram because I don’t care, that’s just not how I roll.
‘When we went to go take a picture, she was standing in front of me. Okay, that’s not how we take a picture. She was the most rudest woman I’ve ever met.’
Imitating Sofia’s accent, the Bravo favorite claimed that she overheard the American Idol judge say that she didn’t actually want to take photo with her.
Teresa continued: ’I saw her whole demeanor and then I heard her say to her PR person, “Why are you making me take a picture with that lady?”
‘I was like, “Excuse me? I did not want to take a picture with you! I never asked to take a picture with you, I would never ask to take a picture with you.”
‘She just looked at me and we both walked away from each other and that was it.
‘How rude. You’re so not a humble person. You forgot where you came from… It’s not like she started out like being on the top. She forgot where she came from. She’s so not a down-to-earth person. I’m so not a fan of hers.’
Although their brief meeting had a tense ending, the RHONJ OG revealed that her stepson is a huge fan of Modern Family, so she also ‘has to like Modern Family’.
When asked if they’d met since, Teresa shared that they found themselves in the same restaurant just last year.
‘She walks right past me, I know she knows who I am,’ she added. ’It’s so funny, her friends asked to take a picture with me. I was so nice to them.’
