and have celebrated their daughter Phoebe’s A-level results day by treating the teenager to a fancy family night out.
The Strictly host, 54, and Radio 2 presenter, 49, have , with 18-year-old Phoebe the older of the pair – younger sister Amber is 13.
Results day unfortunately saw university hopefuls across the country receive some of the lowest average grades since the start of the pandemic.
However, results figures are , with 79% of students across the UK receiving a place at their first university of choice.
And it seems from the bright smiles in the photos that Phoebe was one of the lucky lot who got good results and secured a place at her university of choice.
Tess, Vernon, and Phoebe were all dressed to the nines for their night on the town, which saw them stop by the Ivy Asia in Manchester’s Spinningfields.
Stood in front of a gorgeous floral ceiling and wall decoration, the trio were arm-in-arm, with Tess referring to her and Vernon as ‘proud parents’.
Although Tess didn’t clarify what Phoebe’s results were, the happy faces in the photo implied that Phoebe got the results she was hoping for on the big day.
Fellow BBC presenters Gabby Logan and Claudia Winkleman were among those sending Phoebe their best, with Gabby saying ‘well done’ to her.
Tess and Vernon haven’t been seen in public with Phoebe too often, as she focused more on her schoolwork and studies – that move seems to have paid off.
Earlier this year, Tess took to Instagram to mark Phoebe’s last day of school, saying: ‘Well that’s a wrap and the school days are done, no more sports days & school shoes!’
‘As a parent it feels pretty monumental, we’re so proud of you Phoebe; here’s to the next chapter!’
Tess will soon be back on presenting duties, with the – things are gearing up for its return next month.
