winner Harpreet Kaur has confirmed her sister will remain a part of their business after the partnership with Lord Sugar.
Harpreet for her dessert business, which she co-founded alongside her sister, much to the surprise of Lord Sugar during the final-four interviews stage.
When Lord Sugar had questioned Harpreet on the situation, the entrepreneur and she would happily ask her to step down from their venture should he decide to invest.
‘If you didn’t want her as a shareholder or director, fine, she’s prepared to step down,’ she told him.
But now, Harpreet has confirmed her sister is here to stay, and that they will both be working alongside Lord Sugar.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast today, the dessert parlour owner said: ‘If you’re investing in anything you need to understand the company structure and who is in it, but I made Lord Sugar aware that we’ve got the company where it is today which is a fantastic proposal for you, and that has been with my sister.
‘We need to obviously discuss and come up with a private arrangement, but my sister is definitely staying within the business, she’ll remain as a director, and we can’t wait for the three of us as a powerhouse team to really supercharge this now.’
The winning business’ Instagram page, Oh So Yum, recently introduced Harpreet’s sister Guv.

Harpreet became the show’s 17th winner – after two candidates were offered investment in series 14 – and follows in the footsteps of the series 15 champion Carina Lepore, who also developed a business for those with a sweet tooth with her London-based bakery chain Dough Artisan Bakehouse.
