The latest Jurassic World movie is out in just a couple of months and Lego is getting ready with two of its biggest dinosaur figures ever.

They might not necessarily be popular with fans of the originals, but if the Jurassic World films have been good for anything it’s been cool-looking Lego sets.

Like most movies, the merchandise has arrived well before the film itself and there are already a number of smaller Lego Jurassic World Dominion sets available.

However, the newly revealed Giganotosaurus & Therizinosaurus Attack is the biggest so far and comes with two giant-sized dinosaur figures, as well as six minifigures – including Dr Alan Grant and Dr Ellie Sattler from the original Jurassic Park.

As odd as the name may sound, the Giganotosaurus is a real dinosaur, first discovered in the 90s, while Therizinosaurus was first found in the late 40s and yet is not well known in pop culture, despite its intimidating appearance.

The set also comes with a lab building, an all-terrain buggy and garage, and an observation tower with a collapsing platform – to help recreate scenes from the film.

There’s also a cargo-carrying helicopter and minifigures for new character Kayla Watts, plus Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, and Dr Henry Wu.

With 810 pieces this is the last scheduled set for the movie and will launch on April 16, at Lego stores and the .

It costs £114.99, with the lab being over 16cm high and the Giganotosaurus figure over 32cm long.

This is unlikely to be the last ever Jurassic Park set though, regardless of what happens with new movies, as recently Lego has been making sets based on the original films as well, such as the which is out just a day after the Giganotosaurus one.
