joked she shouldn’t be allowed to talk about The Masked Dancer in public as she accidentally revealed a huge clue for the new series.

The former judge is on the panel of ITV’s over the top mystery dance show, and she may have given viewers a big hint when it comes to figuring out the identity of Pearly King.

Reflecting on the new series – which has been filmed in advance – Oti admitted how ‘weird’ some of the costumes are, with the likes of Sea Slug, Prawn Cocktails, Cactus and more set to strut their stuff.

‘They’re so weird! I’m almost nervous to say anything about the Masked Dancer because I give away clues! I’m actually shaking,’ she laughed, before doing exactly that.

We have a lion, I think he steals – or SHE steals the show! You see?! Why do they bring me on?!’

Presenters Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay couldn’t help but laugh, although they didn’t press her for any more hints – which is probably for the best.

Despite her slip up, Oti – who appears on the panel with Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and newcomer Peter Crouch, while Joel Dommett is back as host – admitted she loves being part of the show and described the phenomenon as a ‘secret society’ for the crew, panel and fans alike.

‘You feel like you’re part of a secret society that nobody knows, but only the people who watch. I get into it – I’m a part of it, but also as a viewer,’ she said.

‘It’s so frustrating when I don’t get it. I text Davina at midnight like, “Do you think -” we send photos of you, like, “Do you think it’s Rochelle?” All night long!’

She promised more thrills and spills after the first series in the UK last year, adding: ‘This series is even better because there’s more dancing, it’s crazier. It’s an insane, insane show to be part of – but a fun one!’

And while she’s loving her role on the show, she vowed to never forget her Strictly roots after becoming the first – and so far only – pro to win the Glitterball Trophy back to back.

‘I feel like Strictly will always be a part of my life – my best friends are still there, my sister [Motsi] is still there,’ she said. ‘I feel like it’s like that family member that will always be there.’

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV. The Masked Dancing returns on Saturday (September 3) at 6.30pm also on ITV.
