The Masked Dancer is back for its second series on ITV, and Cactus is one of the 12 undercover celebrities strutting their stuff, as judges , , and Peter Crouch do their best to guess their identities.

Last week, we saw Desperate Housewives star , and his mask as Astronaut was taken off.

The series, a spin-off of the ever popular Masked Singer, has bagged itself a primetime Saturday night slot this year after debuting on screens in the summer of 2021 – and you can expect a clash of the titans as it goes head to head with .

But just who is behind Cactus’s mask? Here are the clues we’ve been given to their identity so far, and theories about who it might be…

What clues have been given about Cactus on The Masked Dancer?

A singer, a boxer, or a comedian? (Picture: ITV)
  • ‘Hola amigos it’s time to step into the [boxing] ring,’ they began.
  • A wrestler from Mexico?
  • Famous for putting on a show
  • Is number one on a hall of fame (or is Hall of Fame a reference to the Script song?)
  • Has ‘conquered’ some pretty iconic venues (Wembley stadium perhaps?)
  • Doesn’t want to get ‘busted’ any time soon… could that be a reference to Busted the band?
  • ‘I often get mistaken for a mythical beast’

Who could Cactus be on The Masked Dancer?

Could Cactus be Matt Willis, singer from the boyband Busted?

He’s sung in famous stadiums before, and is pretty famous for putting on a show.

Or could it be one of his McBusted bandmates, Tom Fletcher perhaps?

Danny Jones

As one Masked Dancer fan put it, ‘Cactus is Danny Jones. The “Silence” clue sign is a reference to him being a Judge on The Voice.’
