The Masked Dancer is back for its second series on ITV, and Pig is one of the 12 undercover celebrities strutting their stuff, as judges , , and Peter Crouch do their best to guess their identities.

Last week, we saw Desperate Housewives star , and his mask as Astronaut was taken off.

This week, the likes of and Onomatopoeia are battling it out on the dance floor.

The series, a spin-off of the ever popular Masked Singer, has bagged itself a primetime Saturday night slot this year after debuting on screens in the summer of 2021 – and you can expect a clash of the titans as it goes head to head with .

But just who is behind Pig’s mask? Here are the clues we’ve been given to their identity so far, and theories about who it might be…

  • Pig’s clues were all given in or around their bright pink countryside cottage
  • A betting slip appeared out of their post box
  • While they also wore racing gloves with white knuckles
  • In their own words, they’re ‘strong, vicious and fiery’
  • And ‘always up for a challenge’
  • ‘I once made a right pig’s ear of meeting someone I really admired’

Could Pig be Countryfile presenter Anita Rani? That would link to the countryside clues…

And we all know she has those Strictly Come Dancing moves from her stint on the BBC One show in 2015.

While none of the judges may have guessed it, fans seem to think Clare Balding could be behind the mask.

The broadcaster has presented plenty of sports programmes before, and is a self-proclaimed animal lover!
