When host Emma Willis announced their name, they celebrated with coach Will.i.am who became emotional, and told the duo that they reminded him of his bond with Black Eyed Peas bandmate APL.DE.AP.

‘Seeing the girls, they remind me of me and Apl, me and my best friend.

‘To see people who really truly appreciate one another and support one another it just reminds me of the person that I built my dream with and that’s my best friend,’ he explained.

The pair expressed their gratitude to Will.i.am, 48, and told him: ‘We are just really grateful, we’ve worked really hard and our families over there, we love them so much.

‘All the coaches, Will you’ve been so life-changing for us we just feel amazing, thank you everyone, thank you.’

Best friends Jenna, 21, who is from Whitley Bay, and Liv, 24, from County Durham have bagged themselves a record deal with Universal Music, and £50,000. On top of this, for the first time, the winners will get to flown off to spend seven nights in Mauritius.

To take home the top prize, they battled it out against Hope Winter, Callum Doignie, and Jolie Stevens, but were able to convince the studio audience and super fans that they were most worthy.

As a result of the popularity, fans can already download their single, which is their spin on Chaka Khan’s I’m Every Woman.

The pre-recorded episode featured a special performance from Raye of her single Oscar Winning Tears, as well as who returned to the stage to sing single All I Do Is Try.

This wasas he in September that after six years in the red chair, he was no longer going to be part of the show.

At the time, the former  host said he was ‘shocked’ at the decision. Olly, 39, did say he ‘accepts’ the choice to let him go but made it clear how much he’s going to ‘miss’ the job.
