This Morning favourites who could ‘replace’ Phillip Schofield if axed following ‘fallout’ with Holly Willoughby

and have reportedly fallen out, which has allegedly led to crisis talks at about the future of the show.

Holly, 42, and Phil, 61, usually host the show together Monday to Thursday, but wouldn’t confirm that this would go ahead next week.

‘Chiefs at ITV have now called meetings to discuss what to do next amid the duo’s row,’ claims 

The publication adds that the broadcaster was also concerned with Phil’s reduced popularity with viewers.

Dermot O’Leary

Dermot, 49, already hosts the Friday edition of the show every week with Alison Hammond.

According to William Hill, he’s the frontrunner at 5/2, whilst Ladbrokes puts him at 7/2.

Dermot spoke recently about how much enjoyment he has for This Morning on podcast . ‘It’s a nice thing. If someone said to me, “You’re doing Fridays for the next 10 years” I’d be over the moon. I love it.’

Rylan Clark

Ladbrokes have Rylan at 6/4 odds, while William Hill put his chances at 5/1.

The 34-year-old has got plenty of experience on the show. He started out presenting the showbiz goss before fronting the show with former husband Dan Neal. They made history as the first gay couple to present the show.

Marvin, 38, is coming in at a strong 3/1 on Ladbrokes.

He previously told he doesn’t see himself back on the job. ‘Never say never but that’s sort of Roch’s family now – it’s her thing and it kind of makes sense for it to be how it is.’ He also added that his wife is ‘so good at that job.’

According to Betting Sites Rochelle is at 6/1.

According to William Hill Vernon, 49, is 5/2. He’s presented alongside Rochelle, and Josie Gibson on This Morning, and he’s full of praise for the ITV show.

Following a week of presenting in April last year he said: ‘Well! What an amazing week on @thismorning Thanks to @josiegibson85 for being, you! A joy to be hosting with a natural host! And all the team behind the show!

He continued: ‘It’s obvious why @thismorning wins all the daytime awards! Hard work pays off!! Loved the opportunity.’

Joel Dommett

He stepped in to host with Holly during Phil’s recent leave of absence, so the gig wouldn’t be a stretch.

At the end of his run on the show the 37-year-old wrote on Instagram: ‘What a week! Had the best time at @ThisMorning – what a lovely team. Thank you all for the nice comments it’s really appreciated.’

He is 8/1 to take on the role according to Betting Sites.

Other names in the mix according to Ladbrokes are Stephen Mulhern (5/1), Sean Fletcher (6/1), Martin Lewis (8/1), and Adrian Chiles (12/1). William Hill is also offering odds on Ben Shephard (8/1), Melvin Humes (8/1), Craig Doyle (10/1), Andi Peters (14/1), Dan Walker (14/1), and Ore Oduba (14/1).

Finally, on Betting Sites Alison Hammond (10/1), Phil Vickery (20/1) as well as former hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford (both 50/1) have their names in the ring, reports the Daily Mail.
